While on the road of writing, if it’s full-time, part-time, casual, or as one can write in-between the necessities of life, sometimes there’s the urge to reach beyond the boundaries of one’s normal genres of writing. I’ve desired it and tried it, but tended to fall back on the predictable or the road well-traveled.
Peter Veugelaers was known as a cricketer in college. In 1989, he took on a writing course and was asked what he would do with writing. He said he wanted to help people as best he could. In 1996 he started writing for Giveway magazine as a Christian film reviewer. In 2000, he started to write for the faith-based Challenge Weekly as an article writer while finding more outlets for film reviewing and articles. In 2017, he unofficially retired from writing for publishers in those forms and went blogging. He also pens devotions, reads every day, and watches cricket when he can. He has recently published a review blog. View all posts by peteswriting
